Lisa Butler Music Consulting has the need for a Sales & Marketing Manager to assist within its music industry events division known as ASC.
ASC is a growing music industry and events organisation comprising both profit and non-profit initiatives including the Australian Songwriters Conference, ASC Musician’s Expo, Ettalong Beach Acoustic Busk-a-thon, ASC Songwriter Assist Incorporated, ASC Music Publishing and a number of other initiatives being planned for roll-out in the next five years.
In order to continue the pattern of growth in our organisation, we are seeking the services of an experienced and dedicated Sales & Marketing Manager who has a proven track record of success in marketing, fundraising, and developing long and short term sponsorship deals. Experience working within the music industry is desirable. Immediate start.
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
- extensive experience in fundraising, sponsorship and marketing
- a proven success record in these areas
- a positive, warm and friendly energy and attitude
- the drive and desire to build this position from the ground up
- an established and relevant network of music and business contacts
- a good working knowledge of the music industry
- be a self starter
- be dedicated to assisting ASC to the next level
- have great references
- be truly excited about being part of the ASC organisation
Initially commission based with generous result-driven bonuses, it is anticipated that the position will become a permanent salary + commission based position in the future. Applicants should reside in the Sydney, Central Coast or Newcastle regions.
